Plexiglass PMMA (Acrylic)
High quality cast (Cell CAST) plexiglass (PMMA) sheet for professional laser cutting and engraving. Unlike extruded acrylic, cast plexiglass melts more evenly during processing, does not emit pungent odors, and white/matte color is obtained during engraving. Due to its excellent optical properties and ease of processing, this material is ideal for advertising, design, engineering layouts and DIY projects.

Areas of application:

- Awards: Statuettes and trophies (polished edge is extremely transparent).
- Interior: Partitions, decorative elements, furniture inserts.
- IMPORTANT: Thickness tolerance The thickness of cast acrylic varies more according to the production technology than that of extruded acrylic. The standard formula (according to ISO 7823-1) is +/- (0.4 mm + 0.1 x thickness).
- For example: a sheet with a thickness of 3 mm can in reality vary from 2.3 mm to 3.7 mm. Please take this into account when designing joints or grooves (it is recommended to leave a reserve in the drawings).
Main technical features:
- Material: Cast PMMA (Cell Cast Acrylic).
- Density: ~1.19 g/cm³.
- Softening temperature: > 105°C (150-170°C is recommended for shaping).
- Operating temperature: -40°C to +80°C.
- Resistance: UV resistant (does not yellow outdoors), resistant to weak acid/alkali solutions.
Caution: Not resistant to strong solvents (acetone, alcohol, gasoline). Use only soapy water or special plastic cleaners for cleaning.
